These terms apply when you buy a book from keynoteslegacy.com. They are written in plain words so you know what to expect before you pay.
Who sells the books
Books are sold by Keynotes Legacy Group Inc., Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Questions about an order: info@keynoteslegacy.com.
Prices and tax
The price of each book is shown on its page and again at checkout, in the currency shown there. Tax and shipping, where they apply, are added at checkout and shown before you pay. We may change prices, but the price you see when you order is the price you pay.
Paying
Payments are taken by our payment provider, which accepts the payment methods shown at checkout. We do not see or keep your card number. Your order is confirmed when you receive our confirmation email.
Printed books and delivery
Printed books are made to order or from our stock, then shipped to the address you give us. Delivery times and shipping costs are shown at checkout. Please check your address carefully, because we cannot recover a book sent to a wrong address you gave us.
E-books and digital copies
A digital copy is for your own personal use. Please do not copy or share it. Once you have downloaded a digital copy, it cannot be refunded unless the file is faulty or does not open.
Damaged, misprinted or wrong books
If your book arrives damaged, misprinted or not what you ordered, write to us within 14 days of delivery with your order number and a clear photo. We will replace it, or refund you if we cannot, and we cover the shipping. We may ask you to keep the book until we reply.
Lost or late parcels
If your parcel has not arrived within 30 days of the delivery date shown at checkout, write to us and we will trace it. If it is lost, we replace it or refund you. We cannot refund delays caused by the carrier, customs or weather, especially for international orders.
No refunds for change of mind
Because books can be read in a few hours, we do not accept returns or give refunds if you change your mind or no longer want a book. Please use the free scorecard and the free sample chapter on each book's page to see whether the book is right for you before you buy.
Wrong address
Please check your address before you pay. If a parcel goes to the address you gave us and is not delivered, or you do not collect it, we can send it again once you confirm the correct address, and you pay the extra shipping.
Group and bulk orders
Schools, churches, associations and groups can order in bulk. Write to info@keynoteslegacy.com for a price and delivery time. Bulk orders are not returnable for change of mind. Damaged or wrong copies are replaced as above.
Fair use of these terms
We resolve genuine problems quickly and fairly. Please write to us before you ask your bank or card company to reverse a payment, so we can put it right. We may refuse a refund or replacement where claims are repeated or look false, or where a book has been used or damaged by the buyer.
Your rights
These terms do not take away any rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Alberta.
Changes
We may update these terms. The terms in force when you place your order are the ones that apply to that order.
